Welcome to the Ekkulle holiday house
Location
The holiday house stands just outside the Småland hamlet of Galtås. From its idyllic location you look out over a landscape conservation area. Several woodpecker and owl species are your new neighbours.
Ekkulle lives up to its name in that the house stands on a wonderful hill surrounded by old oaks. The view is enchanting, regardless of which window you look through.
About 200 metres from the Ekkulle holiday house lies Villa Vilan, a bed and breakfast place where you can enjoy the outdoor jacuzzi or relax in the luxurious sauna. The Ekkulle holiday house is located on the 27-hectare property of Villa Vilan. The farm has animals of old, endangered races and all activity is ecologic.
The Ekkulle house
Ekkulle is a 95 m2 house built in 2008, with a 25 m2 veranda. The veranda is the perfect place to sit comfortably in a garden chair and gaze at the horizon. There is grill with a large table next to the house.
The pleasant house holds a modern standard, with floor heating in the bathroom, air heating pump/climate facility, wood stove, flat screen TV, fully equipped kitchen with stove with ceramic hob and oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, electric water boiler, toaster, food processor and more.
The living room, kitchen and dining area is 45 m2 in all. The two bedrooms are 15 m2 each and the bathroom and hall are spacious and generous. One of the bedrooms has two beds, while the other has three. (It is also possible for two to sleep on the comfortable sofa bed in the living room, plus there is a crib, if needed.)
Ekkulle is a non-smoking facility and pets are not allowed.
Prices
5 900 SEK for a stay of one week (up to five persons; each additional person costs 700 SEK)
15 700 SEK for a stay of two weeks (up to five persons; each additional person costs 700 SEK each per week)
11 100 SEK for a stay of three weeks (up to five persons; each additional person costs 700 SEK each per week)
19 800 SEK for a stay of four weeks (up to five persons; each additional person costs 700 SEK each per week)
Shorter visits are negotiable (applicable for low season).
The cost of electricity used is extra.
Final cleaning is included, though guests are asked to tidy up before they leave.
Sheets and towels can be rented.
