The friendly and generous rural holiday home Ekkulle stands just outside of the Småland hamlet of Galtås. Store Mosse National Park and the “adventure mountain” Isaberg, for example, are only a stone’s throw away.
Ekkulle (Oak Hill) lives up to its name: The holiday home on a picture-perfect hill is surrounded by old oaks. From its idyllic location you enjoy an enchanting view over a landscape conservation area.
The harmonious, light interior of Ekkulle Holiday Home with subtle colours and wood tones corresponds with the countryside’s natural charm.
About 200 m from the holiday home lays Villa Vilan. There you can enjoy the outdoor hot tub and relax in the luxurious sauna.
Villa Vilan is a small agricultural business and Bed & Breakfast (three guest rooms). The Ekkulle Holiday Home is situated on the grounds of the farm, which is managed extensively and ecologically with traditional breeds. To the farm also pertains the Äppellund Holiday Home.

Facilities – Ekkulle Holiday Home
The Ekkulle Holiday Home is suitable for up to five persons. It comprises an impressive day room with living, kitchen and dining area, two airy sleeping rooms, a spacious bathroom with rain shower and floor heating as well as a generous hall.
The two bedrooms at the holiday home are 15 sqm each. One of the bedrooms has two sleeping-places, while the other has three. All beds of the holiday home are equipped with blankets and pillows. (For babies/toddlers there are a crib, a high chair and a potty.)
The kitchen, with stove with ceramic hob and oven, microwave oven, fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker, electric water boiler, toaster, food processor and more, is fully equipped. With other words: Holiday home Ekkulle is a top self-catering accomodation! There is access to free high speed Internet in all rooms of the holiday home. And at Villa Vilan there are laundry facilities and a freezer at your disposal any time.
The Ekkulle Holiday Home is a 95 sqm house with a 25 sqm veranda framed by a glass balustrade. Floor-to-ceiling windows connect inside and outside.
The building stands on stilts. There is a barbecue area with a large table next to the house. For the veranda there is garden furniture at your disposal. Relax with woodpeckers and owls as your neighbours!
The Ekkulle Holiday Home is cosy chic: It has a 45 sqm harmoniously furnished, light-filled day room. In its living area you find, among other things, a wood stove, a couch and a LCD smart TV with DVD-/CD-player and free Netflix service.

We generally offer Saturday to Saturday bookings.
Shorter stays at the Ekkulle Holiday Home are negotiable (applicable for low season).
Depending on the season a minimum stay may be applicable.
The Ekkulle Holiday Home is a non-smoking facility. Pets are not allowed at the holiday home.
The cost of electricity used in the Ekkulle Holiday Home is extra according to consumption (in addition to the electric heaters there is an air heating pump; wood for the fireplace is at disposal).
Final cleaning is included, though guests are asked to tidy up before they leave the holiday home.
At the holiday home there is free access to high speed Internet.
